About the Role:
You will be the primary Talent Acquisition resource to provide dedicated support to our newly-established and rapidly growing R&D Innovation Center in the Boston area. You will engage globally across all of ConvaTec’s four major business units, to deliver all facets of recruiting success through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. You will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent, mainly focused on R&D, Engineering, Technology and Innovation roles, but may also include other functions associated with the R&D Innovation Center.
This position is initially slated for a Six (6) month contract with the potential to extend past that period.
Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with the appropriate HR Business Partner and Hiring Managers to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees to execute on recruitment strategies
Manage the full recruitment cycle for all assigned requisitions, including requisition creation, candidate sourcing, screening/interviewing & recruiting, offer negotiation, and appropriate administration
Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent and measurable
Ensure diverse candidate slates are presented for all assigned requisitions
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the life cycle of each search
You are a talented Technical Recruiter, possessing strong experience around sourcing and recruiting top talent in the R&D and Technology space. You thrive in a fast-paced, startup type of environment and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to deliver results, while maintaining compliance to US employment regulations. You are dedicated to sourcing diverse talent slates and have the track record to prove it.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience; a mix of agency and corporate recruitment is preferred
Experience recruiting for a variety of corporate functions, with an emphasis on R&D and/or Technology preferred
Experience managing the full cycle of the recruitment process through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); Workday Recruiter preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships across various stakeholders up to Executive Leadership Team members
