Insight Global Technology Architect in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing for a Technology Architect, to join a public sector IT organization within the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation (OCABR), protects consumers by making sure the professionals they hire comply with state licensing laws. This organization is currently undergoing a modernization project to replace three siloed software systems managing licensing, permitting, inspecting, and enforcing functions. These systems will be replaced with a single standardized Salesforce Public Sector Solution LPI platform. The DOL Modernization Technology Architect is a key player in this project, as they will be the leader in evaluating and co-creating technology architecture and proposed paths forward to design and deliver the consolidated Salesforce platform. In this role you will report into Associate Deputy Commissioner of Technology, Analytics and Digital Transformation and work closely with the internal stakeholders to drive requirements with the Salesforce vendor. The primary goal of this position is to define and drive the technical and data architecture and direction for DOLs new Salesforce LPI application, a cloud-based solution for professional licensing and inspection. This position is hybrid out of the Boston area, roughly one day onsite per week. This position is a 12-month contract role with opportunities for extension.

Compensation: $80/hr. to $90/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

-Previous experience leading a Salesforce Modernization project from inception to completion

-Understanding and experience with Salesforce and of traditional Salesforce CRM platform and recent technologies including LPI modules, DataCloud, Einstein and DocuSign

-Data management and reporting tools: RDBMS, NoSQL databases, cloud-based and data integration tools and warehouses (e.g. MuleSoft, Tableau, Snowflake)

-REST API frameworks in a variety of language(s).

-CI/CD and DevOps tools, particularly Jira and Copado

-Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools -Experience in both waterfall and agile software delivery methodologies.

-SaaS and IaaS: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce cloud, Snowflake, others

-Security & Privacy expertise within a public sector environment null
