Deloitte Training Strategy & Operations Leader, Talent Culture & Change Management in Boston, Massachusetts

The responsibilities of the HRST Talent Culture & Change Management (TCCM) team are to:

  • Drive adoption of transformational and strategic initiatives to execute against the Talent transformation roadmap and against other identified Talent priorities

  • Work across HRST to define, drive, and iterate a coordinated HRST approach to culture and change management

  • Partner with Strategic Integration team and work across portfolio, program, and projects to coordinate culture and change activities with Talent, Business, Consulting, and HRST stakeholders and to support consistent, effective execution Talent Transformation and other Talent Priorities as needed

  • Support HRST and Talent in anticipating and mitigating challenges to change adoption and effective use of technologies

  • Act as a Culture and Change Center of Excellence (CoE) for HRST and the Talent Channel and as a Community of Practice (CoP) for change management professionals embedded in implementation teams

  • Act as a culture and change advisor for HRST and Talent leaders

  • Work with HRST, HRST UX, Talent, and Talent Communications leaders to refine and amplify a clear and compelling vision of the Talent Channel experience and the talent experiences of Deloitte professionals in their engagement with the channel

The Training Strategy & Operations Leader will lead training strategy development and training operations for the Talent Transformation (TT) and as a part of organizational change management delivered to and for the Talent Channel. The Manager will work closely with HRST Talent Culture & Change (TCC) Management Leader & TCC Deputy leader, TT workstream change managers, workstream leaders and their teams focused change professionals, other HRST functions (UX, Strategic Integration), training contractors, training specialists, and Consulting teams to deliver.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, design and development of training in support of the Talent Transformation (TT), including selecting training modalities, recommending technologies, and planning delivery

  • Assess training needs generated by the Talent Transformation by stakeholder, persona, role, and/or technology and create strategies and plans to address needs identified

  • Design and build a TCC training approach, develop and version training plans for workstreams, phases, and initiatives

  • Develop persona and role-based curricula in support of the Talent Transformation

  • Partner with TT OCM Leader, embedded change managers, and UX and DE teams to design and lead development of training microsites, Cura Channels and other training resources

  • Identify training development and delivery skills and develop training resource plans and LOEs

  • Act as a training SME for the Talent Transformation and HRST Talent Culture & Change team

  • Integrated training approach to drive consistent delivery of culture & change activities, day to day.

  • Support UAT and include key stakeholders and engagement group representatives in training development wherever possible

  • Support collection and analysis of training data

  • Support clear and effective articulation of stakeholder concerns to project team, serving as a conduit of business and stakeholder needs, support documentation of business needs during UAT, and version training strategy and plans with business stakeholders in mind

  • Support in driving the integrated delivery of change management activities across the Talent Transformation

  • Proactively manage group and individual stakeholder needs and concerns through ongoing engagement, eliciting feedback, supporting requirements and testing workshops as needed

  • Provide "white glove support" for Talent and Business leaders and build strong working relationships, managing escalations of their concerns, and sharing insights into progress

  • Plan for training contingencies and advise project leaders in managing project communications and stakeholder issues

  • Work with DE and UX teams to conceive and develop consistent training interfaces and courses, and change and communications strategies/plans that are aligned with Talent strategies and leading practices

  • Provide oversight of training courses and materials to ensure quality and consistency

  • Develop knowledge of the Talent Channel, people and processes, and of talent service delivery

  • Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables that will be shared at the Talent and business leadership level

  • Coordinate with other teams across Talent and the Businesses, including Leaders, as appropriate, to understand project implications for other programs, projects, or processes or when subject matter expertise is required

  • Maintain awareness of current business trends, operating conditions, and internal process and practices that have significant impact on Talent programs



  • Current Manager level (CL5) candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related area;

  • 10 years of professional experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience

  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with strong analytical and problem-solving skiils

  • Strong understanding of training tools and methods

  • Experience designing and developing synchronous and asynchronous training

  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills

  • Excellent program/project management skills

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with advanced PowerPoint skills


  • Experience developing and delivering training as a part of large-scale change management projects or organizational transformations, including the rollouts of enterprise applications

  • Talent/HR systems background and an extensive, broad network across the Business(es) and/or Talent Channel

  • Graduate degree in instructional design

  • A practical working understanding of a variety of Deloitte change management methodology and practices

  • The ability to write quickly and well to produce world-class communications for audiences across channels and levels
