The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day cash and working capital management for the Company’s subsidiaries in the Americas under the direction of the Treasury Director. This will consist of making cash management decisions through the analysis and preparation of various reports (cash position, cash forecast, and cash activity reports). It will also involve concentrating and dispersing funds and coordinating activities with various internal departments as well as external financial institutions. The responsibility includes maintaining the Company’s banking information, its bank account databases, and assistance and coordination of other treasury related special projects. The position will also be responsible for managing the non-REIT Subsidiary cash pool which entails; funding all pool participants, monitoring the pool position to ensure the net balance remains positive, managing the monthly netting process, and assisting our internal customers with and treasury related issues.
Working under the direction of the Director, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for:
managing bank accounts in America
managing banking relationships in America
managing day-to-day cash operations, including non-REIT subsidiary cash pool, pool participants funding, cash positioning and cash forecasting
coordinating inter-company netting
working with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Tax, Legal and other internal groups, to coordinate internal funding transactions and resolve cash/capital related issues, including inter-company loans, capital contributions, dividends, and acquisition related funding
supporting audit requests
other treasury related issues and ad hoc projects
Education: BS/BA degree
Skills: General working knowledge of financial and banking terminology, effective communication skills, highly computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access or equivalent software required)
Prior Work Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in a fast-paced administrative function, related to a treasury/finance environment
