Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Treasury Associate to join their team in the PE and RE investment industry. In this role, the Treasury Associate will manage financial activities, maintain accurate records of cash flows, and oversee bank accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to document daily cash positions and forecast monthly cash flows.

• Oversee the initiation of wires for both domestic and international transactions.

• Communicate with property managers or fund accountants regarding cash receipts.

• Record and update prior day's cash activities.

• Prepare documentation for the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts, including managing authorized signatories.

• Contribute to maintaining bank reconciliation logs.

• Assist in the transmission of positive pay files to banks.

• Review and analyze bank fees, suggesting potential savings opportunities.

• Support the preparation of daily cash positions and monthly projected cash flows.

• Aid in documenting Treasury policies and controls.

• Provide assistance for external audit requests.

• Manage corporate debt and reporting.

• Handle additional tasks and projects as required.

• Carry out other duties as directed by the Treasurer.

  Requirements

Requirements:



Experience: 4-5+ years in treasury, including:

• Wire setup (domestic and international).

• Experience with Treasury Workstation systems (TMS).

• Positive pay processes.

• Bank fee analysis and reporting.

• Corporate debt management.

Education: Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

• Experience with accounting software such as MRI or other ERP systems (preferred).

Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong communication skills to work effectively across the organization.

• High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Attributes:

• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of banking operations.

Additional Details:
