Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our team in the legal industry, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Your main responsibilities will include handling estate planning strategies, trust administration, and tax planning.
Responsibilities:
• Implementing sophisticated estate planning strategies tailored to each client's needs
• Handling trust administration, including routine probate administrations from start to finish
• Applying knowledge of Massachusetts probate and trust law in all tasks
• Assisting in estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax planning
• Reviewing and preparing returns related to estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax planning
• Utilizing skills in Civil Litigation, Trusts and Estates, Revocable Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Estate Law, and Estate Planning
• Servicing a wide variety of clients with different needs and requirements
• Maintaining strong experience in all areas of responsibility. Requirements • Applicant must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice law in the state.
• Proven experience as a Trusts and Estates Attorney is required.
• Strong background in Civil Litigation is essential.
• Expertise in Trusts and Estates, including management of Revocable Trusts and Special Needs Trusts is mandatory.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Estate Law is needed.
• Proficiency in Estate Planning is a requisite.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills are vital.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines is crucial.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are necessary.
• The candidate should have a high level of professionalism and adherence to legal ethical standards.
• The applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in using legal software for case management is a plus.
