Oracle UI Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Life sciences companies are working to quickly bring safe and effective medicines to

as health information management, security solutions, cloud, healthcare data

analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain – are helping organizations

tomorrow.

The Healthcare Global Business Unit brings comprehensive, end-to-end solutions to

the healthcare industry to support best practices and reduce costs. Oracle's

healthcare-specific industry applications help ensure quality care and decrease

patient safety concerns through the integration of clinical data and the ability to

analyze patient-specific information.

Our developers and architects work with cutting edge technologies and interact

seamlessly with our healthcare industry experts in product management, sales and

support teams. We are spread across the world and are looking for developers to

work on next generation open, standards-based products and solutions for the

healthcare industry.

As a member of the Healthcare Global Business Unit development organization, you

will specify, design and develop enterprise software and implement major changes

to existing software architecture. A successful candidate will be a strong team

player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines. The candidate

should be self-directed and have experience and knowledge of software design,

coding, and testing methodologies.

Technical skills:

· 4-6+ years experience of solid web development experience with

JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, webservices (REST, SOAP)

· Some experience developing RESTful services utilizing Java

· Experience with continuous integration frameworks like Jenkins is desired

· Experience working on Cloud based solutions with modern cloud

technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, microservices

· Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure prefered

· Experience with Agile Methodologies

· Ability to communicate effectively remotely

Desired knowledge in the following is a plus:

· Has solid hands on experience in healthcare interoperability standards

such as HL7(V2, V3 and FHIR), HIPAA, EDI, IHE profiles such as PIX/PDQ,

mPIX/mPDQm Understanding Master Data Management/EMPI solutions,

Patient centric FHIR standards Experience with design/developing data

standardization techniques Experience with design/developing data

matching techniques
