Overview of Job Function:

The Vice President, Corporate Communications will partner with the senior leadership to develop, direct and oversee the communications strategy, planning and execution. The position will collaborate with and leverage cross-functional, global team of executives and other leaders to develop and deploy communications across various channels, audiences, and regions. The position is responsible for brand and message strategy and communications that reinforce Verint’s market leadership, technology innovation and a deep commitment to customer success. The position will provide leadership for such key functions as marketing communications, public relations, influencer relations, analyst relations, internal communications, customer advocacy, brand strategy, and creative execution.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive market awareness of Verint as the CX Automation company. Create and deliver strategic communications that inspire and elevate our story in the drive customer engagement market and across the Verint employee base.

  • Drive an effective brand identity and momentum for Verint as a leader in CX automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) through compelling creative, consistent and aligned messaging across all global properties, channels, stakeholders, and venues.

  • Plan and direct content creation for external communications channels via coordinated public relations, media relations, research, blog, and related thought leadership.

  • Drive strategy and execution of industry analyst relations, analyst co-marketing and influencer relations.

  • Drive strategy for Customer Advocacy programs including reference program, case study program, and client advisory boards. Partner with Client Success Managers, Sales and Go to Market leaders to identify and groom references/client spokespeople.

  • Drive strategy and execution of marketing communications, partner with content marketing team to create compelling, measurable content to support thought leadership, programs, and campaigns, collaborating with peers on material development.

  • Drive strategy and execution of internal communications, including executive messages, special programs/meetings, and news updates via the company intranet.

  • Manage a direct team of communications and creative/design professionals.

  • Direct and manage various agency relationships including design and creative services, advertising, and public relations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bahelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field, or the equivalent years of work history.

  • A minimum of 15 years of demonstrated experience with delivering effective communications strategies that create clarity around business strategy and drive cultural change in a software or technology organization.

  • Ability to write concise, compelling materials in different styles for different types of publications and audiences, including social media and the web, within deadlines and aligned with corporate guidelines.

  • Ability to craft presentations, papers, thought leadership articles, brochures, datasheets, case studies, press releases, web copy and other marketing communications materials based on technical documents and interviews.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience leading teams within one or more similar lines of business, which may include marketing or marketing operations.

  • Direct experience leading change communications initiatives in global organizations.

  • Effective direct team and agency management experience.

  • Polished business acumen and understanding of communications in a publicly held company.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization confidently and effectively through both written and verbal communications.

  • Proven ability to make strategic decisions with confidence and influence.

  • Considerable success and comfort working in large, complex and matrixed organizations.

  • Proven networking skills and a proven ability to develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders across an organization to drive results.

  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to synthesize storylines as part of communication strategies

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC and Social Security verification.
