JPMorgan Chase Vice President - Fund Operations Tax Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
Proactively identify, track, and resolve tax issues
Coordinate with 3rd Party Vendor and External reviewers for timely delivery of projects
Oversee 3rd Party Vendor's production of deliverables
Monitor and review for adherence to fund policies
Closely monitor the status of projects
Research and respond to inquiries from the Client, 3rd Party Vendor, and Auditors
Evaluate processes for improvements and to provide metrics to Management
Develop a strong knowledge of internal systems and the function of each of the various internal service teams
Develop a broad knowledge of fund accounting treatment of standard transactions in order to analyze the associated tax impact.
