Learn more at www.ihi.org.Position Summary:Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Marketing and Communications is accountable for building, protecting, and messaging IHI's brand, driving thought leadership, continuously expanding IHI's reach, and playing a pivotal role in achieving revenue goals. This position provides oversight and leadership for all marketing functions, including Product, Education, Global Brand, and Corporate Marketing, as well as IHI's PR and Communication functions.Position Responsibilities:Position ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Communications Leadership:Maintain positioning and reputation for IHI in the global marketplace by building recognition for the IHI brand and protecting its use.Develop and guide the execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals.Guide the marketing team to ensure the successful launch and promotion of products and services in alignment with other marketing and communications functions.Align efforts to enhance the organization's brand image and reputation on a global scale. This includes maintaining brand consistency across all communication channels and ensuring that the brand's values and messaging are well-represented.Guide the expertise within the PR and communications function, including media relations, crisis communication, and creating and distributing press releases to build and maintain a positive public image.Oversee market intelligence and customer perception function for informed product and services development.Operational LeadershipDevelop and manage budgets for marketing and communications activities to ensure efficient use of resources and the achievement of strategic goals.Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns and strategies.Report out and update Executive team and other relevant stakeholders on the progress and outcomes of marketing and communication efforts.Ensure that all marketing and communication activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.Stay updated on marketing and communication trends, technology, and best practices, and incorporate innovative approaches into strategies and tactics to keep the organization competitive.IHI Vice President Core and Leadership CompetenciesPromote and Foster 'One IHI'Articulate, translate, and demonstrate commitment to our vision, mission, and values, both with external entities and with each other.Actively learn about IHI, contribute to our success and future viability, and represent the IHI brand in all interactions.Appreciate, anticipate, and embrace improvement as a means to achieving results.
