Job Title: Warehouse Worker - Pallet Jack Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as warehouse workers. In this role, you will operate a ride-along pallet jack to load and unload trailers on the dock. You must work at a quick pace to ensure orders are shipped out or put away during the shift. Training will be provided for operating the ride-along pallet jack to load, unload trailers, and put items away in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate a ride-along pallet jack to load and unload trailers.

• Ensure orders are shipped out or put away promptly during the shift.

• Work at a fast pace to meet company standards.

• Use RF scanners and scan guns for order picking and material handling.

• Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, loading, and unloading.

Essential Skills

• Experience in picking, packing, and using RF scanners.

• Ability to operate a ride-along pallet jack.

• Experience in loading and unloading trailers.

• Prior warehouse experience of at least 6 months.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with reach trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts.

• Ambitious and eager to build a career.

• Entry-level candidates will be considered if they can meet the company standards.

Why Work Here?

This is a brand new warehouse that is expanding rapidly. The industry supported is hospitals, which are always operational regardless of holidays, weather, or other factors. Upon conversion at the one-year mark, employees earn 24 PTO days annually and are offered a 401K with a match up to half of 5%. Once you convert permanent, the compensation will increase by over 3 dollars an hr.

Work Environment

The work environment is a 380,000 square foot distribution center with brand new equipment and racks. The culture is fast-paced, with everyone focused on their tasks and helping one another. Music is played loudly for everyone to enjoy. Shifts are mostly 10 hours, with occasional extensions to 12 hours to ensure all work is completed. Available shifts include 1st Shift (5am-3pm, Monday-Friday), Mid-shift (2pm-12am, Sun-Thur), and Night Shift (4pm-2am, Sunday-Thursday) The dress code is professional yet flexible for a warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boylston, Massachusetts.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
