We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join a law firm in Braintree, MA. The firms practice is focused on helping individuals with the probate of estates and related litigation (such as will contests), estate and trust planning, and probate administration matters.

Location: Braintree, MA

Schedule: In office 4 days a week and 1 day remote (Hybrid)

Hours: 9-5

Comp Package: Around $75,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorney in managing and organizing probate, estate planning, and trust administration cases. Maintain case files, deadlines, and correspondence.

• Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, scheduling meetings, and ensuring that clients are informed and updated throughout the process.

• Ensure that all client files, documents, and correspondence are properly organized and maintained in both physical and digital formats.

  Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, ideally in litigation.

Familiarity with probate and estate planning procedures, including basic understanding of probate court filings and trust administration.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with legal software (e.g., Clio, Time Matters, or similar) is a plus.

Professional demeanor and client-focused approach.
