How you make a difference

The Benefits Entitlement Coordinator will perform insurance eligibility and enrollment activities for patients with inpatient stays.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly EEDR reviews and IP Stay reports toidentifyeligible inpatient stays and ensure proper NFL edits are in place.

• Assistwith enrollment applications for inpatient stays and ensuretimelycompletion of Medicare/Medicaid enrollment activities.

• Notify providers of insurance identification numbers andmaintaincontrol file for enrollment application progress and status.

• Work with claims toidentifyand address possible improper payments.

• Maintain database for indigent persons-served, ensure Medicaid applications aresubmitted, andprovidemonthly insurance reporting to the client.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or Associates in business preferred.

Experience

• Knowledge of medical insurance processing and medical terminologies.
