Robert Half Real Estate Paralegal in Brighton, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Brighton, Massachusetts for a Paralegal role. The job function involves handling various paralegal tasks in the Commercial Real Estate industry, focusing on pre-closing and foreclosure procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient in handling Eclosing procedures and ensuring all documents are prepared and organized efficiently

• Responsible for preparing and reviewing purchase sales agreements, ensuring all legal and financial terms are correct and fair

• Act as the main point of contact to communicate with buyers, providing them with necessary information and updates

• Specialize in handling foreclosure and pre-foreclosure cases, taking necessary actions to protect the interest of the clients

• Assist attorneys with day to day tasks, providing support in research, document preparation, and client communication

• Utilize skills in handling Closing Documents and Closing Packages, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and signed before closing

• Knowledgeable in using the Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives Program (HAFA), providing clients with alternatives to avoid foreclosure

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Commercial Real Estate laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to daily tasks and responsibilities. Requirements • Candidate must possess a proven knowledge of Commercial Real Estate

• Proficiency in Closing Documents and Closing Package management is essential

• Demonstrated experience in Pre-closing and Foreclosure procedures is required

• Familiarity with Pre-foreclosure processes is crucial

• Experience with the Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives Program (HAFA) is a must

• The role requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and principles as relevant to the Paralegal position

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary

• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is needed

• Strong research and report-generation skills are required

• The candidate should have a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters

• Proficiency in MS Office suite and other related software is necessary

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field or a Paralegal certification is preferred.
