Description Do you want to be an indispensable part of a flourishing team? Robert Half currently has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position available that is long-term contract / temporary. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This is a fantastic role and you will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. Based out of the Brockton, Massachusetts area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening.

Your responsibilities

• Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

• Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

• Conduct full-cycle A/P

• Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

• Perform special projects as assigned

• Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

• Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

• Provide support during internal and external audits

• Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling Requirements - Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

• Comprehensive knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting

• Code Invoices experience required

• Deep understanding of month end closings

• Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

• High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
