As an Accounts Receivable Billing Associate, you will play an important role in our commitment to serve others.
Handle all medical and insurance billing and invoices with demonstrated mastery of billing formats, claim forms, web portal billing, and navigation of payer websites.
Submit all insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate with supervisory staff on any issues regarding claims.
Track billing, reconcile issues with payer reports, follow up on unbillable items, conduct system testing, and update billing procedures as necessary.
Work involves extensive use of Excel.
Create electronic claims and ensure internal control compliance.
Actively participate in team meetings and assist in the on-boarding of new hires.
Proactively support the objectives and goals of the department, including providing support for special projects.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred. Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills. Analytical skills and the ability to collect information from different sources. Proficiency in Excel preferred. Experience in Medical Billing necessary. Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate banking services. Skillful data analysis, critical thinking, and strong financial acumen.
