Family and Community Resources, Inc. Mental Health Clinician in Brockton, Massachusetts
Community based non-profit agency specializing in domestic violence, mental health and substance abuse services is immediately seeking master level therapist. Candidates bi-lingual in Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Haitian Creole are encouraged to apply. The Mental Health Program has a commitment to foster continued education and professional growth for our clinicians which includes: paid quarterly trainings eligible for CEUs; weekly individual supervision to support licensing requirements; clinically supportive environment with access to senior clinical staff throughout the week; monthly clinical group supervision. Responsibilities Provide community and office-based work with children, adolescents and adults survivors including individuals, families, and groups 24-28 weekly clinical hours including both individual and group therapy crisis intervention and participation in on call rotation conduct intakes for new clients case management for caseload clients participate in weekly clinical and administrative supervision participate in monthly programmatic and agency wide meetings Requirements Must hold a Masters Degree in a clinically related field Minimum of 2 years knowledge of issues related to child development, mental health, addiction and domestic violence Willingness to be involved in community outreach and training Must be culturally aware, have experience in working with diverse populations and a passion for working to bring about social justice and change Must have experience with working with Trauma, including Domestic Violence and Play Therapy Substance abuse training and experience a plus Valid Drivers License Hours Fulltime position (35 hours per week) with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Two evenings until 7PM required to accommodate after school time slots and working parents. After 3 month successful training period, 1 remote work day may be available.
