Brockton Hospital Professional Practice Coordinator RN in Brockton, Massachusetts

We are comprised of the award-winning not-for-profit Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital; Signature Medical Group (SMG), a multi-specialty physician group of more than 150 physicians practicing in 18 ambulatory locations.

The Professional Practice Coordinator (RN) will provide support to the Patient Experience Department in the deployment and enrichment of Relationship-Based Care as is developed and implemented throughout the Signature Healthcare organization. The professional practice coordinator will serve as an internal consultant to the managers and staff of specifically assigned areas of the organization, conducting such activities as coaching, training, facilitating, data collection, analysis, and document production. More specifically, the Professional Practice Coordinator (RN)will work with nursing, providers and other care givers in the areas of patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with our clinicians on their terms, with the ultimate interest of our patients in mind.

  • Articulate and translate the meaningful use and methodologies of Lean management as it applies to our patient care services

  • Comfortable individually producing and conducting presentations to groups of 5-50

  • Comfortable coaching & training others towards meeting goals successfully

  • Must be able to work well independently, managing time effectively

  • Key roles and responsibilities will be analyst, teacher, coach, negotiator, and have some leadership presence.

    Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a healthcare environment

  • Familiar with “healthcare language”, as well as “clinical terminology” as it relates to patient care services

  • Strong Business Aptitude (verbal and written communication, use and interpretation of data, etc.)

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills

  • Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to a variety of working environments and people

  • Ability to manage the work of several projects simultaneously

  • Knowledge of Lean (TPS) Management System and Tools is preferred.

  • Excellent facilitation skills
