Speech Pathologist Roles and Responsibilities: 
Under the general administrative supervision of the Coordinators Rehabilitation Services, provides evaluation and rehabilitation services to communicatively impaired individuals exhibiting disorders of speech, language or swallowing skills within the Hospital's program.
Establishes daily schedule, treatment plans and priorities to service assigned patients. Generally works independently within department policies, however, will consult superior regarding unusual problems or cases.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables within established department and hospital policies and procedures.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to assign and delegate duties in a clear and understandable manner.
Must be able to reasonably make appropriate judgment in communications and actions with patients, physicians, other associates, outside agencies, and vendors.

Required
A minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited university training program with concentration in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology; current state license; minimum of four years clinical experience.
MBS (Modified Barium Swallow testing) experience is required.
