Staff Education Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Director of Staff Education orients and educates the nursing staff by providing new hire nursing orientation and resuscitation courses through the American Heart Association.
Represents administration in the overall management of the hospital, in the absence of nursing administration and managers.
Participates as a member of the Nursing Management team.
Provides supervision to clinical staff in the provision of patient care.

Required
High school diploma or equivalent required.
B.S. in Nursing required; M.S. in Nursing or related field required or in process.
Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Five years of clinical experience.
Demonstrated ability in leadership skills, clinical skills, communication skills and professional creativity.
Experience in teaching/mentoring required.
