Atrenne is currently seeking a Systems Administrator Reporting to Atrenne's Cyber Security Director, the Systems Administrator will have duties that include the following IT areas: NETWORK DUTIES include evaluating network performance to ensure maximum throughput. Ensuring on a daily basis that Internet and Email systems are "up and running". Backup the file server and other mission critical data on a predetermined basis. Develop, maintain and test disaster recovery plans. HARDWARE DUTIES Installing all required hardware, both network and user. Trouble shooting and repair of all hardware problems. ANALYST DUTIES Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify a computer program. Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. PROGRAMMING DUTIES Coordinate installation, testing, maintenance and modification of computer operating systems software. MANAGEMENT INFORMATION DUTIES Manage the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information systems for the organization. Systems Administrator responsibilities will be performed in accordance with NIST 800 series publications, ISO9001/AS9100 procedures and quality standards and comply with along with adhering and supporting Atrenne and U.S. Government technology export regulations and compliance policies, practices and protocol. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE B.S. computer science degree or specialized training through college or certificate program; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS Must have strong working knowledge of computerized operation systems and software and hardware performance. Must have strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and MS operating and software products. Prior IT experience in a manufacturing environment helpful. This role requires strong customer service skills with a focus on providing the best results for the business and customers. Strong verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate highly technical information to non-technical audience. Good attention to detail and ability to multi-task, working on multiple service tickets & projects concurrently in high-paced environment to meet or exceed customer expectations. Good troubleshooting skills and ability to problem solve using analytical skills, technical expertise and research.
