Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Brockton, Massachusetts. The individual will be instrumental in maintaining our computing environment by identifying system/network requirements and providing support to the user community. This role is crucial to our operations, and we are looking for someone who is adept at handling various tasks, from system monitoring to user training.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test PC and server hardware and software, maintaining a PC/Server inventory including updates to critical components.

• Provide Helpdesk support, making regular Desktop visits.

• Ensure optimal PC(s) performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

• Work with senior members of the department to recommend and potentially implement network, server, and operating system management systems enhancements.

• Maintain system and network security by monitoring system access, establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures, and maintaining documentation.

• Facilitate user understanding by designing and conducting training programs, providing references, and support.

• Stay aware of department related expenses, recommending methods for cost cutting and improving efficiencies.

• Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

• Contribute to organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading detail oriented publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in detail oriented organizations.

• Utilize skills such as Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, Backup Technologies, Deployments to perform duties effectively. Requirements • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator for a minimum of 2 years

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Dell Technologies

• Hands-on experience with Database management and Linux Technologies

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Expertise in Backup Technologies and Deployments

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications will be considered a plus Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
