Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Technical Director of the Vascular Laboratory accurately conducts a variety of studies for the evaluation of vascular disorders utilizing duplex ultrasound and physiological testing.
Location: 110 Liberty Street, Brockton, MA
Department: Vascular Lab
This is a full-time 40 hour / week position
Responsibilities:
Accurately maintains permanent images that are organized and collected as relevant information to be used for final interpretation.
Demonstrates an understanding of puposes and functional capacity of equipment. Demonstrates a good understanding of pathophysiology, hemodynamics, and imaging of vascular structures from all types of vascular beds being examined.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Technical/Other:
Education : High school diploma required. A minimum of an Associate’s degree in a health related field. Graduate of a diagnostic ultrasound school or sufficient on the job training in vascular technology.
Experience : At least three (3) years of experience in vascular imaging and physiological testing.
Certification/Licensure : Certification in Vascular ultrasound, RVT preferred
