Boys and Girls Club Youth Development Coordinator in Brockton, Massachusetts

The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for developing, facilitating, or engaging in programs for youth, teens, and the greater Club community in various settings that enhance and support personal youth development or community efforts. The Youth Development Coordinator can be expected to plan and lead a variety of activities within a specific program area, such as Education, The Arts, Health & Wellness, Workforce Readiness, Character & Leadership, and Sports & Recreation, or Hunger Relief. All Youth Development Coordinators additionally serve as Club drivers for various essential Club transportation programs and are responsible for daily driving requirements in service to Club programs. QUALIFICATIONS: One year of supervised work experience in a youth/out-of-school time setting; this can be reduced to 9 months with an associates/bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 21 years of age and in possession of a valid MA driver\'s license for a minimum of 3 years and a driving record suitable for insurance application. 30 - 40 hrs/week * Valid Massachusetts class 7D transportation license or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment. * Ability to effectively interact with children on a range of issues and the perspective to support diversity, equity, and inclusion of all. * Demonstrated ability to make mature judgments in difficult situations. * Willingness to display professionalism, wear a uniform, and be respectful and compliant with all Club policies and procedures.
