Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Performance Improvement Analyst in Brookline, Massachusetts

This position's work location is fully remote with occasional time onsite. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).

The Performance Improvement Analyst assists in the implementation and monitoring of performance improvement programs. Assists in the analysis of data and develops a range of reports to facilitate assessment of improvement efforts.

  • Refresh and improve existing volume and productivity reports and analyses.

  • Present analytic work product to appropriate internal audiences and end users.

  • Support data needs of the Performance Improvement and SOE teams.

  • Manage pieces of larger projects or manage multiple smaller projects at a time.

  • Produce regular reports of analyzed performance improvement data.

  • Populate and maintain project documents.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. One year of related work experience, preferable within healthcare industry or performance improvement.

  • Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Basic knowledge of the Healthcare industry.

  • Basic knowledge of the process/performance improvement process and tools of DFCI.

  • Demonstrates strong presentation skills.

  • Demonstrates sound interpersonal skills.

  • Skilled at working collaboratively with others within the department.

  • Ability to be detail-oriented.

  • Ability to understand the question that stakeholders want answered.

  • Ability to effectively present assumptions/findings of analyses.

  • Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.

  • Ability to quickly learn to use new software tools.

  • Ability to present data in a clear manner with charts and other visualizations.

  • Ability to engage in peer development conversations.
