Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Burlington, Massachusetts

Description

We are in search of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for our team located in Burlington, Massachusetts for our Full Time Engagement Professional Team. The primary function of this role involves the review and approval of reconciliation and journal entries, the preparation of consolidated financial statements, and variance analysis. This role is integral to our team, providing vital support in maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve reconciliation and journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Prepare consolidated financial statements following industry and company standards

• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions

• Utilize NetSuite or SAP for financial management and reporting

• Use MS Excel for data analysis and financial modeling

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial data

• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results

• Coordinate with other team members to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Utilize knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements and HFM in financial tasks

• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.

Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting sector

• Proficient knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel

• Demonstrable expertise in creating consolidated financial statements

• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) software is required

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future.
