Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role presents an engaging work environment where you will handle key tasks related to accounts receivable and collections within a short-term contract employment setting.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake collections calls to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices

• Handle accounts receivable duties to maintain accurate financial records

• Address payment discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner

• Reach out to vendors as part of the collections process to ensure smooth business operations

• Handle past due payments, ensuring all accounts are up-to-date

• Participate in ad hoc accounting projects as required to support the financial department

• Utilize your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections to enhance departmental efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role

• Proven skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections

• Familiarity with healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry is a plus

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Excellent problem solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
