Details

  • LHMC Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine seeks a highly motivated and committed critical care Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a busy critical care service.

  • The APP will be part of the multidisciplinary team caring for critically ill patients within the LHMC Burlington, Beverly Hospital and Winchester Hospital ICUs.

  • Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) daily rounds, management of critical illnesses, common bedside procedures, ventilator management, ICU admissions, critical care consults, and bed flow management.

  • The critical care APP will also be part of the LHMC Medical Emergency Team and respond to all emergencies called within LHMC.

  • Independent critical thinking and patient care management is at the forefront of the APP role.

  • This role will include rotational day, night and weekend responsibilities across the three hospitals.

Qualifications

  • Applicants should be motivated, confident, compassionate, and patient-focused.

  • Prior experience and a strong interest in critical care medicine is strongly preferred.

  • Organization, flexibility, adaptability, and strong time management skills are highly desirable.
