Oracle Class Of Business Development Consultant Program is focused on enabling you with the needed sales skills for success in the business development role and your future career in sales. The program offers the opportunity to achieve multiple levels of career progression with increasing levels of responsibility within the Oracle sales organization. Progression is based on an individual’s ability to meet/exceed sales objectives, tenure, and location flexibility. The program is just the start of your long-term sales career with Oracle!

As a Business Development Consultant your initial training consists of a multi-week, comprehensive program where new hires begin to learn consultative selling skills and Oracle solutions. This serves as the base of new hire learning and provides you with the tools to make an instant impact as part of a highly collaborative sales team. What You’ll Do

A challenging, exciting role that will test your sales skills, tenacity and hunting skills, strategic thinking capabilities, ability to remain focused, and follow-through. You will be provided the tools, training, coaching, and people resources to help you be successful. Your responsibilities will include the following: generate demand for Oracle solutions through social selling and outbound cold calling, qualify Oracle prospects, produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Team, and identify/drive product expansion opportunities via high-value relationships with existing customers.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with the sales team on territory and account strategy, demand generation activities, and desired results

  • Build sales pipeline using social selling, and cold calling methodologies

  • Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in the Oracle CRM application

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Oracle technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, etc.

  • Develop strong customer relationships to identify and drive product expansion/upsell opportunities

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $18.41 to $28.80 per hour; from $38,300 to $59,900 per annum. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 90/10.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
