LeMaitre Vascular Manufacturing Assistant - CardioCel in Burlington, Massachusetts
We are currently looking for a manufacturing technician to help us build our life and limb saving medical devices. We are willing to train candidates who are interested in working in a cleanroom production environment and working for a company that truly makes a difference. This position will be responsible for manufacturing medical devices using various manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Cut, clean, and stretch thin biological tissues using a small die-cutting press, scissors, forceps, and fixtures
Pour, rinse and wash biological tissues with chemicals.
Pack medical device
Work in a cleanroom ISO Class 8 environment with masks, smocks, gloves, and shoe covers
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Follow written specifications and manufacturing instructions to assemble a variety of medical devices
Evaluate product assembly to company quality standards
Complete quality work at acceptable department/production-determined rates
Support other manufacturing tasks as required.

Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Designee.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and manufacturing instructions
Prior Medical device assembly experience is preferrable, but we are willing to train the right candidate
Candidate should have good eyesight, hand dexterity (hand coordination) and attention to detail
Able to use small tools, microscopes, work with chemicals, and tabletop equipment
Able to sit/gown for extended periods during the shift
Able to perform frequent repetitive motions
Able to lift up to 30-LBs
Able to work in an environment with background noise
