Oracle’s mission-focused NSG Sales team seeks a professional with a techno-savvy spirit and an ability to bring ideas, concepts, and people together to deliver cost-effective and technically-sound solutions to Public Sector customers in the Intelligence Community working together with Field Sales Executives. Our primary goal will be developing business in previously untapped product groups.

We are searching for a results-oriented inside sales representative. Top Candidates possess a background selling into Federal or State and Local Government agencies, with either on-premise and cloud systems.

Proficiency in any of the areas of Analytics, Web Center, Data tools, Enterprise Architecture, OS, Database, Application, Storage, Virtualization, IaaS, and Cloud is desired.

Our target market is Public Sector Intelligence Community accounts and the day to day consists of prospecting into the Military and DOD Intel to help discover and drive deals to close.

The primary focus of our NSG Inside Sales Representative is to sell solutions and services to low saturation customers in the assigned territory or vertical to help develop the Oracle footprint and fulfill our customer’s project goals.

The successful candidate will be able to generate sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. We utilize inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. They will develop account penetration strategies and closes business. They will be responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. They will be responsible to liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. You will be an important part of the sales team and work with field sales, support, consulting and other internal teams.

Requirements:

  • The Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of inside sales / telesales experience preferably selling oracle or competitive solutions and/or extensive federal government or client side experience

  • State and Local Government or Federal agency account sales experience is preferred

  • Oracle solution sales experience is preferred

  • The successful candidate will have met or exceeded their quota history

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of an extended team.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferred

  • Veteran Experience, preferred

As an Internet Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Generates sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business . Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues. Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Participates as a team member on sales teams including field sales, support and education sales and sales consulting.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Works under general supervision. Seeks intervention from his/her manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines. 2 years of relevant experience. Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers. Ability to work independently. Typically bachelor degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent
