Job Description

As part of SBC team, the engineering resource will be working on design, implementation and deployment of SBC product in multi core environments like Virtualization and Cloud Native environments like OpenShift, VMWare Tanzu, Baremetal, Public Clouds.

• Setting up of OpenShift/OKD/Tanzu/Baremetal CNE cluster

• Bring up and maintain the SBC product on OpenShift /OKD/Tanzu/Baremetal CNE Platform.

• Application performance optimization on CNE platforms

• Manage the CNE platforms (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)

• Conduct root cause analysis of CNE platform layer issues and resolve them

• Maintain and enhance existing platform functionality in response to needs.

• Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams throughout the release cycle.

• Write functional and design specifications as required.

• Contribute to evolving architecture, discussions and solutions.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in development of high-capacity data path networking/Telco applications in Virtualization and Cloud Native Environment is a must.

• Hands on experience and the expertise with CNE platforms like RedHat OpenShift Container Platform, VMWare Tanzu platform, Baremetal CNE, Public Clouds

• Should have expertise in setting up CNE in SRIOV and PV modes

• Expertise in bringing up networking applications on CNE platforms

• Expertise in scaling the performance of the networking applications in CNE environment

• Administering and supporting of the CNE platform

• Having a strong background in Linux administration, Virtualization, networking and security is needed

• Working experience with OpenStack is a must

• Working experience with Kubernetes, Docker and other container technologies.

• Working experience in bring up microservices on Kubernetes environment for Telco applications.

• Network troubleshooting skills and familiarly with VLAN, VXLAN, IP-IP, BGP, OpenVSwtich, VMware NSX, Load balancer technologies is a must.

• Cloud Engineering Infrastructure development

• Strong understanding of Hypervisors (KVM, VMWare) and network IO modes (SR-IOV, PV) is a must

• Hands experience with security protocols in Kubernetes and cloud environment is a must

• The candidates must have worked in a large scalable telco networking environment.

• Hands on experience on high-level Languages like C, C++, GO Lang, and scripting languages like Python , Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting is required

• Working experience in Agile development methodology is a must.

• The candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skill and must be able to work independently.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
