Maintains inventory of emergency room supplies and equipment, assuring that all supplies are in adequate supply and readily available in the proper location.

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

1) Works closely with the ED management team to facilitate proper supply and equipment management.

2) Keeps Emergency Department organized, making sure that all stock can be easily located and retrieved.

3) Ensures that rooms are properly stocked as needed.

4) Checks that equipment is in working order and that inspections are current.

5) Responds to requests for additional supplies.

6) Maintains the cleanliness of computer and electrical equipment.

7) Ensures that Quality Assurances are performed on a daily basis.

8) Assists with locating stretchers and missing equipment.

9) Maintains strict adherence to Lahey’s confidentiality policy

10) Incorporates Lahey Clinic Guiding Principles, Mission Statement and Goals into daily activities.

11) Complies with all Lahey Clinic Policies.

12) Complies with behavioral expectations of the department and Lahey Clinic.

13) Maintains courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients.

14) Demonstrates an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment.

15) Demonstrates a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers and consistently adheres to Customer Service standards

16) Participates in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities

17) Participates in and successfully completes Mandatory Education

18) Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School or equivalent

Licensure, Certification, Registration: None

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Basic computer skills
