NetBrain Technologies, Inc System Engineer - IT Infrastructure in Burlington, Massachusetts
What We Need: We are seeking a System Engineer with experience in IT infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible and be able to centrally manage servers and IT workflows. The Impact Youll Make: As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the adoption of our IT infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to design, implement, and manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications running on Windows and Linux servers. What You\'ll Do: Centrally manage a broad fleet of both on-prem and cloud-hosted Windows and Linux servers of varying versions and flavors using IaC tools such as Ansible or Terraform. Manage virtualization infrastructure using VMware vcenter, ESXi, NSX-T, vRealize, site Recovery Manager, Lifecycle Manager, etc Assess complex situations to provide support to engineering groups in the US, Canada, and China. Generate or build tools to streamline and simplify the creation, configuration, and decommission of server assets across NetBrain. Manage processes around backup & restore, patching, logging, & identity and access management. Collaborate with security team to identify and remediate complex system vulnerabilities. You Have A bachelors or masters degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field 5+ years experience in IT system management 5+ years of experience with server administration of VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and hands-on experience deploying Rackmount servers 5+ years of experience with patch management tools for OS and third part apps 5+ years of experience with server vulnerability management and remediation processes 5+ years of networking principles and protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, server virtualization and Active Directory integration. Experience with Azure Entra ID/Azure Active Directory is a plus, including directory synchronization, single sign-on (SSO) and identity governance, etc Experience with public cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. Must be able to work at NetBrain Burlington, Massachusetts HQ for at least 3 days a week. What We Offer Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company. For this role, the estimated on-target earnings range is between \$100,000- \$130,000+ Bonus & Stock Options. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The range listed above is a guideline, and may be modified.
