Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. The role involves preparing individual and corporate tax returns, handling multi-state tax issues, and utilizing CCH tax software.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of individual tax returns efficiently and accurately

• Handling corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations

• Dealing with multi-state tax issues, providing solutions as necessary

• Utilizing CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Prosystem software for tax preparation tasks

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on tax laws and regulations, applying them in tax return preparation

• Identifying potential tax credits and liabilities, ensuring accurate and complete returns are submitted

• Addressing client inquiries related to tax preparation and advising them on tax-related issues

• Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service. Requirements • Must possess at least 5 years of experience as a Tax Preparer

• Proficiency in preparing Corporate Tax Return and Individual Tax Return is mandatory

• Demonstrated ability to use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Prosystem

• Proven experience in preparing tax returns is a must

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required

• Must have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) credentials are desirable

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required

• Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations

• Must possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
