Sanofi Group Administrative Assistant, Sanofi Genzyme US Business Operations, Cambridge, MA in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Administrative Assistant will support the Head of Sanofi Genzyme US Business Operations & Support, based in Cambridge, MA. Job responsibilities include:

  • Calendar management, travel arrangements, expense management, individual and central filing support, and all other administrative support.

  • Coordination of meetings, creating PowerPoint presentations, coordinating monthly reporting, use of Excel spreadsheetsand ordering equipment, etc.

  • Assisting on editing/creating communications and documentations that may contain highly confidential information. The position will require excellent discretion and judgment is required.

  • Lead specialized projects requiring strong initiative and follow-through.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work independently, highly organized and effective in handling multiple detail-oriented projects in a fast paced environment. The candidate must exercise discretion and judgment in handling confidential/proprietary information

  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills; a team player

  • Strong administrative and computing skills, MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)

  • Ability to anticipate needs, resourcefulness and responsiveness are essential

  • Ability to interact with various levels of business functions and professionals in and outside Sanofi Genzyme

  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources (academic journals, newspapers, online publications, interviews etc.) and analyze information for implications

  • Attentive to cultural sensitivities

  • High attention to detail and precision in creating reports, tables, and analyses.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years work experience as an administrative/executive assistant required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in health care, biotech, consulting, government or associations preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree
