Department Description:

CHA PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). CHA PACE serves adults 55 years and older with chronic medical and/or mental health difficulties with the goals of achieving the highest level of community independence and preventing nursing home placement. CHA PACE's high functioning interdisciplinary team works to fully integrate and coordinate medical and behavioral health care, community resources, and in-home support services.

Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Appointments Coordination Manager, the PACE Scheduling Associate performs a wide range of administrative and support functions for the department. Administrative responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• • Accurate and timely documentation of care in electronic medical records in EPIC, including documentation of care from outside providers
• • Efficiently managing assigned work queue for care coordination
• • Scheduling new and follow-up appointments for PACE participants as directed
• • Providing support and coverage to the Scheduling Coordination Team where needed

Qualifications:

• • High School/GED required; Associates Degree preferred
• • 1-3 years in an office/administrative role; healthcare experience preferred
• • Experience with computer applications such as advanced word processing, spreadsheets, databases, flowcharts and graphics preferred (Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred)
• • Experience with EPIC a plus
