ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS FOR COMPLIANCE AND STUDENT-ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT, Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER), to assume a senior leadership/management position with responsibility for directing and delivering intercollegiate athletics activities and education specific to compliance with NCAA, MIT, state and federal rules and regulations. Will provide leadership/oversight to student-athlete development programs and provide supervision of varsity sports as assigned. As a member of senior staff, will also advise and assist the director of athletics/department head with operational matters that pertain specifically to other functional areas of DAPER as well. In addition, will assist with varsity event supervision, championships, and special event development and management as requested. REQUIRED: at least four years of progressively responsible work experience in athletics/sports team and coach management; knowledge of NCAA rules and leadership; experience with and knowledge of contemporary eligibility and recruiting databases; demonstrated engagement with student-athlete well-being or programming; ability to lead and supervise; strong interpersonal and coordination skills; and a service-oriented approach to daily work interactions. PREFERRED: knowledge of NCAA DIII and DI rules and regulations preferred. Job #19000-8Salary Range: $75 – 90,000Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
