The Assistant Registrar for Enrollment Services will serve as a leader in Enrollment Services and a key member of the Registrar’s management team. The Assistant Registrar will assist the Associate Registrar in leading the Enrollment Services team, which performs critical FAS enrollment functions, including registration, matriculation, student progress and degree auditing, enrollment data reporting, assessment of more than half a billion dollars in tuition and fees per year, student discipline outcomes, constituent services, degree certification, and graduation. This position will play a critical role in the assessment, prioritization and management of Enrollment Services related projects. The Assistant Registrar will supervise the Enrollment Services Coordinator, including assessing performance, guiding day-to-day activities, and utilizing resources wisely. This position will also contribute to the formulation of Registrar, College, and GSAS student enrollment policies and other Registrarial responsibilities as assigned.
• Responsible for effective staff management, including hiring and orientation, training and development, workflow
and performance management, and the promotion of an inclusive and innovative work environment.
• Manage the daily operation of enrollment services including student registration, course requirement fulfillment, tuition and billing, and milestone completion.
• Prepare and analyze data, produce statistics, metrics and reports.
• Perform user needs analysis, product evaluation, customization, testing and implementation.
• Provide ongoing training and documentation.
• Advise faculty, students and staff on academic policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures and applicable legal rules and regulations.
