The Associate Director, Digital Media & Platform Strategy will be responsible for the digital engagement strategy and channel execution of Company brand campaigns tailored for Novartis global social media and web channels by creating the framework and tactics of various digital media plan(s) to deliver on objectives. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Oversee a portfolio of channels/platforms to ensure world class channel execution, standards and evolution. • Lead ongoing audience centricity within channels to ensure relevancy and engagement to drive appropriate micro-content creation. • Partner with editorial and creative counterparts to develop coordinated, sophisticated, and high-quality content plans in support of assigned digital campaigns. • Identify and articulate key performance indicators that clearly and measurably connect metrics to overall business objectives. Ability to deep dive into metrics to surface ongoing audience and channel findings. • Understanding of and ability to articulate the value of SEO, SEM and paid social media strategies. • Ability to identify social and cultural trends and build Novartis strategy & content that is relevant to intended audiences. \n\n\n\n Position Title: Associate Director, Digital Media & Platform Strategy Minimum requirements: What you’ll bring to the role: • Bachelor’s Degree is required; subject area in business, communications or related program is preferred. • 7+ years of direct work experience in communications required; 4+ years of digital communications (social and/or web) experience required. • Experience working cross-functionally within a large, complex organization preferred. • Ability to handle a diverse workload and managing day-to-day planning across multiple teams including, creative, editorial, insights and analytics, business franchises, and digital strategy. • Knowledgeable of the latest paid media strategies and developments in social media channels. • Ability to iterate, test, learn, and synthesize key findings into impactful insights. • Understanding of attribution, causation, and incremental lift of campaigns that lead to positive sentiment and increases in company reputation. • Curious, creative problem solver; strategic evangelist and ‘innovation incubator’ on digital and social strategies and goals. • Organized, detail oriented and ability to lead through influence. • Ability to execute decisively and react in real time to changes in strategy and tactics based on insights and analytics. • Passionate about the power of digital media to positively influence audiences and boost Novartis reputation. • Clear communicator in written and verbal forms with experience on a cross cultural capacity.
