In this role, you have the opportunity to

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

  • Collaborate with Sales, Deal Project Managers, Market and Finance Leadership to create profitable, winning large deals over $10M.

  • Assist in the development of financially viable and profitable equipment and service deals.

  • Oversee management authorization for complex and highly creative clinical offerings.

  • Oversee large deal financial evaluation, in support of consistent stakeholder value creation.

  • Own, manage, maintain, and train over 35 Marketing and Finance Managers on the use of the N. America deal decision integral profitability simulator for real-time decision making.

  • Assist the North America Lead for Proforma financial modeling sub-steam under the NPI2CASH pricing workstream.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or business. MBA preferred

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible finance experience, including leading, managing teams and experience in a multi-site, global manufacturing organization

  • Ability to partner with management at all levels and to lead major projects and initiatives

  • Excellent analytical skills that lead to actionable growth opportunities

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across a matrix organization

  • Proven self-starter who is able to work the matrix, take complex tasks, and simplify them into key takeaways for management to take action on.

  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends & analysis through data

  • Experience with reporting & analytical tools, like SPSS, Business-Intelligence environments, SQL, etc.

  • Delivers meaningful, accurate and timely reporting, analysis and planning support for senior analysts, managers, and financial stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to multi-task and work effectively as an individual or on a team

  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred) and PowerPoint

  • Affinity with LEAN processes and tools; supported by a curious mindset, with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to balance speed and accuracy; while working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to prepare deliverables

Your team

This person will act as a business partner while being part of the operations finance team and working together with other business partners as well as interacting with the other finance pillars. Key stakeholders are R&D, Operations Leadership, US BG, and Finance.
