  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field required

  • 5+ years of experience in educational content creation, management, or a related role, preferred to have experience in entrepreneurship education.

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of content strategy and digital learning principles.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools.

  • Experience with multimedia content creation (video, audio, interactive media).

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with edtech or digital learning platforms, specifically Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Previous experience working at a startup is preferred.

Additional Information:This position is approved for a 2-year term (with possibility of renewal/extension) which begins on the person's first day of employment.

This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Boston, MA based campus. HBS expects all staff to be onsite 3 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday – Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.

  • Work closely with the Foundry Project Director, product managers, and other team members to align content with project objectives.

  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of content into the platform.

  • Maintain strong relationships with external content creators and partners.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy to drive learner engagement, retention, and growth.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital content creation and management.

  • Explore and implement innovative content formats and delivery methods to enhance the learning experience.

Content Development and Management:

  • Develop, curate, and manage high-quality entrepreneurship education content for the Foundry platform, including modules, lessons, videos, and interactive materials.

  • Oversee the editorial process, including content planning, creation, editing, and publishing.

  • Manage the content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is up-to-date and easily accessible to learners.

  • Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and style. Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.

Learner and Venture Progress Tracking:

  • Design and implement systems to track the progress of learners and their ventures.

  • Develop mechanisms to monitor and report on learner achievements and milestones.

  • Integrate assessments into the curriculum to evaluate learner progress and outcomes.

  • Develop adaptive learning pathways to personalize the learning experience based on individual learner needs.

Performance Tracking:

  • Ensure all learning materials meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance. Implement and manage content review and approval processes.

  • Perform user testing and audience analysis to identify content needs and preferences.

  • Monitor and respond to user feedback to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.

  • Track content performance metrics and analyze data to inform content strategy and improvements.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on content performance and learner engagement.
