In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

and drive performance improvement in various business fields of Precision Diagnosis. The Continuous Improvement Manager can adapt to a number of different roles, including guide, coach, analyst, trainer or change manager, depending on the type of assignment. In all situations, the Continuous Improvement Manager challenges and leads by example.

You are responsible for

  • Deliver impactful results tied to Business priorities through the application of Lean & Problem Solving methodologies, with sustainable behavioral change to ensure long term competitive advantage

  • Drive and execute business strategies, transformation and improvement projects by working with key stakeholders from various internal partners

  • Engage in your ongoing professional growth and skill development through certifications and learning opportunities offered at Philips

  • Develop internal Lean/Agile & Problem-Solving capabilities at all levels

  • Coach team members and management on the consistent Lean behaviors

  • Deploy Daily Management and Problem Solving and execute Kaizens with teams throughout the organization according the Philips standard with the aim to drive business performance

You are part of

The Continuous Improvement Team within the Precision Diagnosis Business Transformation organization. This team provides Continuous Improvement support to the Precision Diagnosis Organization, with the intent to drive the Lean mindset shift, improve processes and ultimately provide more added value to our customers.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering with 5+ years relevant work experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) in a transactional environment within large/complex organizations OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering with 10+ years relevant work experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) in a transactional environment within large/complex organizations

  • Passionate about Lean & Problem Solving

  • Project Management trained & experienced (certification preferred)

  • Training & coaching experience

  • Change Management skills

  • Possess the ability to challenge, influence, inspire and enthuse others at multiple levels of the organization, from Team Members on the work floor to Executive Managers

  • Able to work in a challenging, continuously evolving international environment

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you will reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
