Additional Qualifications and Skills:

Ideal candidate will also possess the ability to manage multiple issues with a capacity to prioritize responsibilities and manage deadlines; able to work with confidential information with discretion. Strong interpersonal, communication (including good writing and proofreading skills), diplomacy, and organizational skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook necessary.

Department:VPHRPre-Employment Screening:Identity Schedule:This is a full-time Non-Union, Confidential Non-Exempt position, 40 hours per week.Job Function:General Administration Job-Specific Responsibilities:

The Executive Assistant serves as the first contact and interface between the Vice President and internal and external audiences. The Executive Assistant provides a wide range of complex administrative support to the Vice President for Human Resources. The Executive Assistant will work independently with minimal supervision with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities. Specifically, the Executive Assistant will:

  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and applicable logistics such as booking rooms, catering, compiling meeting materials.

  • Arrange department-wide meetings and special events.

  • Manage and oversee preparation of daily materials including but not limited to daily briefings and talking points, maintaining files and historical records.

  • Review and edit documents, meeting materials, and correspondence.

  • Assist with processing expenses, invoices, and reimbursements.

  • Review, research, and route incoming phone calls and messages.

  • Work with Vice President to lend project management support on HHR wide initiatives.

  • May work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
