    Job Description

EVENTS AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT COORDINATOR, Sloan School of Management, to play a key role in building a strong student community for a top-tier global MBA program. Will support the execution of major events, provide administrative support, and work with the MBA team on a wide range of projects and special initiatives to ensure the success of the program; and identify and implement program and community events geared towards student experience for MBA and MSMS students. Given the size and complex nature of some of the programs and events, it is critical that the coordinator work closely with people at all levels across MIT and Sloan to consistently produce high-quality events and programs for its myriad stakeholders and ensure operational excellence for the MBA and MSMS programs. Key responsibilities include organizing and executing various community building programs and events for the MBA population of 800+; managing all communications for the office, including developing and implementing a communication strategy for two weekly newsletters, summer communications, and general email and Slack inquiries; and handling all related financial matters. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least three years of event management and or program management experience; interest in events and student engagement; self-direction and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and persuasive communication skills. Job #24361-6Salary range: $54,820 - 72,175 - 89,530, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.Must be able to work in person.Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.8/26/24
