Sanofi Group Director, Dermatology Marketing - Market Development in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Director, Market Development Atopic Dermatitis (AD) will lead specific strategic & tactical marketing development initiatives and operations to support best-in-class execution of DUPIXENT for atopic dermatitis. This role will report to the Senior Director Market Development AD.
Key responsibilities start with developing an intimate and thorough understanding of HCP insights and their approach to the management and treatment of patients with Atopic Dermatitis. The Director of Market Development will be responsible for developing and leading congress activities, our speaker’s bureau, and peer to peer education.
Position Overview/Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation and implementation of market development opportunities with select medical congresses
Lead digital peer to peer education
Lead on developing and maintaining peer to peer execution analytics
Support of market development objectives for specialists within allergy
Support market development initiatives for bi-annual POA
Work closely with our TLL team and outside vendors/agencies to identify KOLs and potential speakers
Work closely across functions and with external vendors/agencies to successfully develop and implement a highly impactful speaker’s bureau program
Work closely across functions and with external vendors/agencies to successfully develop and implement a highly impactful presence at key congresses
Work with market research/analytics to develop and execute research and measurement testing required to develop programs and measure expected returns/success
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups which may include Marketing, Global Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Life Cycle Management and Finance
Close collaboration with alliance co-promote partners
Effectively execute strategies and tactics within the established corporate and industry compliance guidelines.
Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing an advertising agency and related budgets

An ability to successfully engage with top KOLs and other HCPs
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5-7 years in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries
Demonstrated history of operational excellence and ability to deliver time bound projects within agreed timelines
Prior experience managing multiple projects and related budgets
Experience with regulatory the pharmaceutical promotional review/approval process
Preferred Qualifications:
Launch experience preferred
MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Experience working in a Joint Venture/Alliance preferred
Strong understanding of dermatology area and market dynamics preferred
The candidate is expected to be based in Boston/Cambridge area. The successful candidate will be required to sign and execute a restricted covenant upon hire.
