Our client, a prestigious educational institution, is seeking an Editor-Recruited to join their team. As an Editor-Recruited, you will be part of the editorial department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing written content which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Editor-Recruited

Location: Cambridge, MA

Pay Range: $30

Hours : 15-25 hr /Week (1-2 day onsite rest remote )

What's the Job?

  • Provide editorial support for the production of printed or online materials.

  • Edit text to ensure it is well written, logically structured, accurate, and ready for publication.

  • Coordinate the production schedule and monitor the production process in consultation with clients.

  • Copyedit the entire print magazine, including substantive content editing and fact-checking.

  • Review and proof online editorial content for style and accuracy before publication.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in copyediting and proofreading.

  • Familiarity with style guides such as AP, Chicago, or MLA.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of editors and contributors.
