As an Equal Opportunity Coordinator, you will:

  • Assist in ADA, Title IX, and Title VI compliance and provision of services, as well as supporting programming for core functional areas, including community building, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, and skill-building.

  • Meet with students requesting disability accommodations for initial intakes.

  • Provide administrative and executive support for the Assistant Dean, the HLS Administrative Board, and other OEO staff members as appropriate.

  • Perform administrative functions related to scheduling, convening meetings, management of student note-takers, class recordings, CART captioning, and implementation of accommodations.

  • Assist with and coordinate events run by the OEO, engaging with relevant students and staff members as necessary and appropriate.

  • Provide support with logistics for compliance- and education-related training on topics such as harassment, bystander intervention, cultural competence, conflict resolution, dialogue, gender diversity and inclusion, and others.

  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with other support staff in offices such as Dean of Students, Registrar’s Office, Events Management, Finance, and the Dean’s Office as necessary and appropriate.

  • Take appropriate actions to support a diverse workforce and participate in the Law School’s efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, equitable, diverse, and welcoming work environment.
