This is a hybrid position based on our campus in Cambridge, MA. Salary Range : $60,503 - $95,391
Note: Starting salaries typically fall in the lower half of the salary range; however, they are ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.

Independently process financial transactions including invoices, reimbursement expenses for all GPL staff and fellows, credit card expense reports, and other accounts payable and receivables using Harvard's online systems (such as Concur and Buy2Pay). Processing entails (but is not limited to) vendor setup, create and submit requisitions and invoices, serve as Concur delegate for GPL staff and fellows, serve as delegate for the GPL Department credit card, and create and submit non-employee reimbursements.
Monitor financial transactions to ensure timely payment, posting to proper chart of accounts, appropriate supporting documentation is maintained, maintain payment spreadsheet trackers, and ensure adherence to University, HKS, and GPL’s policies and procedures. Resolve any discrepancies.
Human Resources
Responsible for managing all aspects of approval for hiring new or extending existing fellows. This includes serving as fellows coordinator in workflow (Appxtender) which entails drafting and submitting the fellow nomination or extension form, obtaining and submitting fellows CV, and monitoring the fellow's approval workflow.
Responsible for HR personnel actions required for hiring new fellows or extending existing fellows. This includes (but is not limited to) submitting hiring or extension requisitions in PeopleSoft along with all required supporting documentation such as offer letters and coordinating I9 process.
Responsible for submitting required fellow’s HR forms in PeopleSoft for salary changes, processing the end of appointments, and add pays.
Administration and Operations
Serving as an administrative point of contact for GPL fellows and staff, prioritizing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Support GPL operations including kitchen and event supplies, facilities requests, providing logistical support related to special events at the GPL.
Serve as a backup to the GPL Operations Coordinator (such as with event logistics and IT requests).
Complete other administrative activities and tasks on the strategic and operations team in support of the GPL team which may include:
Coordinating travel arrangements
Database management
Ordering business cards for fellows
