Job Description
About the role:
You will manage the oversight of governance, execution and reporting of product donations. Oversight and management of contracts and budget planning for Patient Access programs
Build and manage relationships with external partners such as non-governmental organizations, and vendors that support Patient Access objectives and initiatives.
You will report to the Head of Patient Access, Global Medical
How you will contribute:
Lead the team in screening possible vendors for the design and execution of Patient access programs, perform appropriate due diligence activities, negotiating terms and conditions
Oversee development and implementation and the overall program strategy and execution of excess inventory donations. Responsible for reporting to appropriate internal functions (e.g. Corporate Social Responsibility, Finance)
Responsible for the execution of contractual agreements (e.g. Master Service Agreements, quality agreements, etc.) in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g. Compliance, Procurement, Legal)
Lead governance meetings with vendors, monitor vendor performance across Patient access programs, track KPIs and milestones, follow up on open issues
Oversee budget planning, tracking and execution for Patient Access and align with other relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance)
Oversee demand planning (forecasting of inventory) across Patient access programs
Execute purchase orders for vendors supporting Patient Access programs
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
PhD, PharmD with 5+years; MS with 8+ years; BS with 10+ years experience or related experience in clinical research or expanded access in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO
Project management experience
Previous experience with vendor oversight, contracting, budgeting
Desired
Previous experience working in the expanded access area
Requires approximately 10% travel, including overnight and international travel to other Takeda sites and meetings with external partners.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$149,100.00 - $234,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
